At the heart of the Yerbal ranges, 1,137 hectares for sale, forming part of the core of the Protected Area of Quebrada de los Cuervos. This parcel of land has been in the same family for 90 years, a part of an estancia dedicated to the raising of sheep and cattle.
Due to its outstanding scenic beauty and environmental quality, it was chosen as the first protected area in Uruguay in 2008 by decree number 486/008 dated September 29th, 2008, bordering the Yerbal Chico stream, adjacent to state lands that make up the core of the protected area.
Contained within this parcel is the western half of the Quebrada de los Cuervos, the spectacular Quebrada de los Cajoncitos, several springs of excellent mineral water with their respective streams, a native yerbal (Ilex paraguariensis) with over 100 trees of enormous genetic value, and the famous Brujo stream with its waterfall and cave.
The property is divided into five paddocks with well-maintained fencing, corrals and a cattle chute, as well as access points from the local road. There are no settlements, only a cabin and a wooden shed.
